At the Saxon site of Rossau, which is located between Dresden and Chemnitz, eab already erected two Vestas V47 in 1999. With the construction of these two new wind energy turbines of the type Vestas V90, this project constitutes an expansion of the already existing wind farm Rossau I. The wind energy turbines have a hub height of 125 m and a rated power of 2 MW.

In the end of last year crane pitches and roads were built. Afterwards, both foundations were constructed and the connection to the grid was established. The beginning of operation for both wind energy turbines is planned for the end of April.

Therewith, eab Projektmanagement GmbH achieved their aim to realise 5 projects this year (article 03/2011).
